At 3:14am today we added our first granddaughter to the family! I don’t have pictures to share yet (except my private one that I won’t share from when she first met her mama). Everyone is doing well and now they are recovering and getting to know each other. I am ready to jump on a plane but I will wait until her mother has some time with the new baby and our DIL before I visit. I have always deemed that time as important for them so I wait to meet the new babies a little bit. When my own daughter has her first baby someday I will be the mama in residence to help with everything she needs. So baby girl is here and new adventures begin!
In other less relevant news…
There are books to be discussed and challenges to be shared for those interested in such things. LOL I read six books for the month of February. Three of them were audiobooks I listened to while following along in the tangible copies I had on hand. Here is the “ReadMore” graphic for that… It was a great reading month in several ways. Books READ and books ENJOYED!

I have a stack building but am waiting on another review book. I have one review book in progress. I will have it reviewed by the end of next week. I will share a stack sometime soon. I am still behind from our trip. I am making deep cleaning and clearing plans along with menu plans and a book stack as I clear some things off the shelves. I also just bought some audiobooks on sale to add to the list. I am getting addicted to listening to books while I work around the house. LOL I am weak when it comes to books! My current fiction genre of choice is mystery. I am hooked on H. Y. Hanna, Rhys Bowen, Ellery Adams, Karen MacInerney, and, of course…. AGATHA CHRISTIE. I am also trying a Carlene O’Connor this month… an Irish author.
And speaking of Irish authors here is an Irish Readalong Challenge for you. (Elaine Howlin’s blog)

A second challenge, Middle Grade March, is one that has been happening for a few years now. It is hosted by a couple of ladies I follow on social media… Katie and Kristi and a “new to me” bookstagramer called The Curly Reader. It is about reading books written for middle grade and young adult for ages 9 to 10 through about 14 or 15. Here is the challenge…

So, you can participate a little or a lot for either of these. Are you doing any reading challenges this month? What is in your stack right now? Please, always feel free to share in the comments with us. I love seeing what you guys are reading, too. Also, I HAVE A NEW GRANDDAUGHTER! LOL Ok, until next time…
Happy Reading,
~Leann
